| Progress MEA 2010 will be the second in the international conference series on Progress in MEA components for Medium and High Temperature Polymer Electrolyte Fuel Cells which was initiated by the CARISMA European Coordination Action on Intermediate and high temperature Membrane electrode Assemblies. It follows the first highly successful meeting of nearly 300 delegates from over 20 countries in September 2008. | |
| The conference will be held 19th-22nd September 2010 at La Grande Motte, on the French Mediterranean coast, in the conference centre. | |
| This conference series is specifically devoted to the challenges in developing fuel cell materials and membrane electrode assemblies for the medium and high temperature range targeted for transport and stationary applications. The conference will open on Sunday afternoon with plenary lectures, followed by a poster session and a welcome reception and buffet. Each of the sessions on Monday to Wednesday will be led by invited lectures by leading researchers in the fields of PEM fuel cells materials development, processing, characterisation and applications, and followed by contributed talks, in such a way as to promote a review of important issues related to materials development and durability for PEMFC systems. | |
| The conference will be the opportunity for presentation of recent results, discussion and debate on the solutions sought internationally to the bottlenecks associated with operation at higher temperatures, with an international programme of invited lectures, oral and poster contributions, and round table discussions. | |
| Progress MEA 2010 includes the DECODE dissemination event, and it precedes the 61st Annual Meeting of the International Society of Electrochemistry
(26th September . 1st October) in Nice, France. | |
